What are widgets
A widget( = chart) in Indicate is a visual element inside a dashboard that displays data from your data products. Widgets let you track KPIs, show trends, compare metrics, or highlight specific insights, all in real time. Widgets are the building blocks of your dashboards.
- Widgets can be charts, tables, KPI cards, or other interactive visualizations.
- Each widget is powered by a data product and can be customized to match your analytical needs.

Note:
- You can add several data products from different data sources or the same data source to one widget.
- You can create multiple widgets per dashboard and arrange them flexibly.
- Widgets automatically update when their underlying data products refresh.

How to create a widget
- Go to a Project → Dashboard.
- Click + Add widget.
- Choose the data source that will power this widget.
- Select the data product/KPI.
