What is a dashboard
Dashboards are where data becomes actionable. A dashboard in Indicate is a visual layer where you turn your data products into clear, interactive insights.
Dashboards combine multiple widgets, KPIs, and charts into one view, helping you monitor performance and make fast, data-driven decisions.
- Each dashboard belongs to a project.
- You can include as many widgets or data visualizations as needed, all powered by your connected data products.
- Align your organization: one dashboard = one shared truth.
- Detect patterns quickly through charts, comparisons, and filters.
- Create transparency by showing live KPIs across teams.
- Encourage exploration with interactive widgets and filters.

Note:
- Think of dashboards as your storytelling layer, they transform data into context.
- You can create different dashboards for different audiences, e.g. Marketing Overview, Financial Summary, or Operational Performance.
